After Young was taken off towards the end of the clash against the Magpies, fans spotted Marcos Rojo wearing the captain’s armband, and it certainly didn’t seem to go down too well with the United faithful.

Many supporters of the Manchester side took to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the matter, and there was a definite sense of disapproval.
Red Devils fans insisted it is a sign of “dark times”, whilst a lot of fans suggested this simply proved the club has now entered the “banter era”.
