The future of RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner is currently under the microscope.
Indeed, Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff has revealed that the German will be sold at the end of the season unless he signs a new contract with the Bundesliga club.
Werner’s deal with Leipzig will expire in the summer of 2020 and he will be made available for transfer this summer unless an agreement is reached over an extension.
A whole host of clubs have been credited with an interest in a player who has scored 13 times in 21 appearances for his Bundesliga club during the 2018-19 campaign.
The 22-year-old has 55 goals in his 98 appearances since joining Leipzig, meanwhile, and there is no question that he is one of the hottest strikers in European football.
