Mourinho has insisted that Parrott is not ready to lead the line for Spurs despite Harry Kane and Son Heung-min both being unavailable as they are on the sidelines through injury.
According to The Evening Standard, the quotes from the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss were supposed to send a message to the young Republic of Ireland international, who evidently hasn’t yet responded on the training ground given he failed to even make the matchday squad against the Blues at the weekend.
